Truffle suffers from Entropion, a congenital birth defect where the eyelid turns inward, leaving the eye vulnerable to lashes, dirt and debris. This condition causes unimaginable pain and often leads to infections because it leaves the cornea at risk of scratches and tearing. Truffle’s case is no exception. He’s spent his entire short life uncomfortable and has likely battled an untold amount of untreated infections.
